Macau Excursion A tour to the neighbouring enclave of Macau is an excursion to a Mediterranean town with historical and cultural flair. A 55-minute jetfoil boat ride across the South China Sea and the Pearl River estuary whisks visitors into Macau, located on the western side of the Pearl River Delta. Under Portuguese sovereignty for four centuries, tiny Macau contains many historical monuments, including the famous facade of St. Paul's Church, its border gate with the motherland and the 14th-century Kun Yam Temple. There is also free time for individual exploration (Macau has two attractive offshore islands linked by bridge and causeway), or a gambling session in one of the non-stop casinos. [ Tour Details ] |
